When officials ensure justice, the system will be stable: IEA supreme leader

KANDAHAR (Ariana News): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s supreme leader Hibatullah Akhundzada said in a speech in Kandahar at a gathering marking the IEA’s third anniversary in power, that the current ruling system will be stable when officials ensure justice.

Akhundzada asked officials to avoid selfishness and nationalism and not to focus on power and position. He also said they must not be negligent in their duties, so as to maintain this system.

“I say to Mujahideen, scholars and all religious Afghans, do not be negligent, this victory will be lost due to negligence. Do not be negligent and be aware of Allah’s Sharia. Do not attach your hearts to these positions, do not attach your hearts to the world,” said Akhundzada.

He added that although the Mujahideen were victorious over the former Soviet Union, they fought together to gain power and this made them unable to establish the Islamic system.

Akhundzada stated it’s been four decades that oppression has been in place in Afghanistan and the people need help and cooperation both in this world and in the hereafter.

He asked the officials to protect public property and asked the people to pray for the officials and the leadership of the Islamic Emirate so that they do not go astray.
