F.P. Report

LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has vowed that without giving any heed to criticism and negative propaganda of opponents, he will continue his mission of public service.

Talking to various delegations which called on him on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif made it clear that opponents through their nefarious designs can’t take him away from his commitment to serve the people.

He said that public service is his core mission and journey of development will be continued without caring for the allegations. The pivot of our politics is welfare of the masses and whatever is required to be done for national development and public prosperity will be done.

“We have worked day and night with utmost honesty and sincerity and the results of our dedicated efforts have started to appear. In fact, political opponents have already given in to the historic agenda and development performance of Pakistan Muslim League-N,” the Chief Minister said.

Shehbaz Sharif said that conscious people can fully recognize the genuine political leadership. We have not made any hollow claims nor raised empty slogans but practically served the people with dedication and commitment. He said that it is the collective responsibility of all of us to work for national development and welfare of the masses because the challenges and problems being faced by the country can be collectively countered in the prevailing circumstances.

It is the need of the hour that the youth should equip itself with latest knowledge and understand the modern technologies for ensuring speedy development in the country, the Chief Minister said adding that the Punjab government is following a comprehensive program of developing health and education sectors so that the people could get most-modern facilities of health and education at their doorsteps.

Shehbaz Sharif said that it is a historic achievement of the PML-N government that it has overcome the energy crisis and defeated the menace of terrorism. Meanwhile, completion of energy projects will not only promote industries but will also create new opportunities of employment and exports, he added.
