Will continue to raise voice for sanctity of votes: Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that those who are trying to put me behind the bar will not stop my voice because the people of Pakistan are with me and will not accept any decision against the will of the people.

Nawaz Sharif said this while talking to media outside accountability court on Friday. PML-N supermo demanded an open trial so that there is no confusion or equivocation regarding his case.

He claimed that the NAB ordinance was forged to target the politicians and this was informed by NAB when he was in Attock jail.

PML-N does not want any mishap in the country and destroyed the democratic process as we are fighting for the rights of the democratic values in the country, he added.

He also asked why the Supreme Court did not take suo moto notice of the news of horse-trading in the Senate elections and adding he has become ideological now and surrounded by ideologues.
