Will any court punish a former dictator, asks Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the country could suffer immense loss if democratic process was disturbed and the ongoing game did not come to an end.

He asked is there any court in the country that can punish the dictator who ruins the constitution many times in the past, he pointing the former president Pervez Musharaf. This he said while talking to media persons after his return from Changla Galu at the Punjab house.

Nawaz added that former dictator killed the former Governor Balochistan, Nawab Akbar Bugti and when he will be punish for his endless crimes. This was the first interaction with the media persons after his disqualification in Panama case on July 28 by Supreme Court.

A dictator who ruined constition and sitting abroad is saying that dictatorship is far better than democracy, people will show him their view about democracy if he came back to country, Nawaz said. Musharaf wanted to sign a deal with him under National Reconcilation Ordinance (NRO) but refused to sign it and instead he signed the charter of democracy with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

PML-N Chairman Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Hussain Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz, Senator Asif Kirmani, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed. Marrium Aurangzeb and others leaders of the party were present on the occasion.

Later Nawaz Sharif met with PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Mualana Fazal-u-Rehman, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Hasil Bizinjo and PM Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider.
