Will Nawaz see UWOS a conspiracy against him: IK

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan, in a tweet, said that Unexplained Wealth Orders (UWOs) law has now come into force in the United Kingdom and Transparency International has included Sharifs Avenfield apartments in demand for investigations into corrupt leaders’ properties in UK.

“So now will Nawaz Sharif see this as an international conspiracy against him & his children?” he said.

He said that one can only imagine the anguish of the Sharifs plus all other crooks who have money-laundered huge amounts of dollars abroad, leaving Pakistan with crushing debts.

“Wondering how Nawaz Sharif’s paid media reacts to it? How will they blame the Supreme Court and the army for this? Dilemma for Sharif media darbaris!” he said.

The Times newspaper reported on Saturday quoting the security minister said that Britain will use new powers to seize the assets of foreign criminals and corrupt politicians.

Investors from Russia, China and the Middle East have poured billions into London, buying everything from luxury properties to entire companies, but the provenance of some of those funds has been questioned by transparency campaigners. It is unclear how much money is laundered through Britain.
