Will perform special prayers if PTI wins, says Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday said, “It was a time when the PTI was pleading for union leaders to join the party and now known politicians are aspirant to join the party.”
He said that Lahore Minar-e-Pakistan rally was the turning point and attracted masses attention towards the PTI. He said this while talking to a private channel in Islamabad on Friday. Regarding elections, he said, “He will perform special prayers if the nation gets rid of corrupt leaders, adding he will also appeal to the public to perform special prayers.
Imran Khan said the rule of corruption is going to end soon, adding that criminal elements will not be allowed to further rule over the country. He said Mian Shahbaz Sharif is one of the most corrupt persons in the country and he is gradually coming into the cage of law. Imran Khan said earlier people were criticizing that we don’t have leader who can win elections and now they are criticizing that why we have added outsiders in the party.
It was a time when we bagged for union council level leaders and they after delivering us a comprehensive lecture said they will decide after consulting with their workers. It was Lahore gathering which attracted political leaders’ attention towards PTI.
