Woman found dead at Lahore hotel, husband on the run: Police

LAHORE (NNI): The body of a woman was found in a hotel room in the Defence locality of Lahore early Thursday, police officials informed.

Police have identified the deceased as Nazia, a resident of Sheikhupra, and claim that the initial investigation suggested that she was killed by her husband, Ali.

The suspect is on the run. The cause of her death is believed to be strangulation.

Moreover, the law enforcement personnel have claimed to arrest the man on whose name the said room was booked.  The body of the deceased has been shifted to a morgue for medico-legal examination.
