KARACHI: A woman was killed while another 10 persons sustained serious injuries in a bomb blast in Karachi Monday.
According to reports, the blast took place near the New Memon Mosque in Kharadar area of the Sindh capital.
Rescuers and lawmen rushed to the spot.
The condition of six of the injured is stated to be critical.
A senior officer of Sindh police said it was a ‘bomb blast’ that damaged several vehicles and motorcycles.
Sources said it was a remote device planted in a motorcycle.
An emergency has been declared in Karachi Civil hospital.
