Woman shot dead by in-laws in Ayubia

ABBOTTABAD: A young woman was allegedly killed by her in-laws in Ayubia area of Abbottabad. As per details, Haleema Bibi, 27, an expecting young lady, wife of Muhammad Waseem, mother of one, was allegedly gunned down inside her house, by in-laws.

Talking to local mediamen, parents of the victim woman said that their daughter was killed by her husband and in-laws. They alleged that her husband and in-laws had murdered Haleema with planning. They requested for the apprehension of the culprits and demand justice.

When contacted, Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP) Gallies, Abbottabad Jamil-ur-Rehman told The Frontier Post that as per postmortem report, about 11:30 A.M. the smitten was gunned down inside her husband house and died with in 2 to 3 minute after gunned shot. Dead body was shifted to DHQ Hospital Abbottabad for postmortem at 5’O clock at Friday. Due to misconceptions and miscommunications by legal heirs the dead body of the victim was re-examined by medical board in the presence of heirs, police and IB officials.

On the complaint of victim’s brother Bakote police had registered an FIR against the victim’s in-laws including her husband, brother-in-law, father-in-law and mother-in-law. Police initiated an investigation into the incident and two accused of murder case have been arrested. Police had recovered pistol and MT Shell from the crime place. While answering the question to the DSP said that as investigation is being carried out is too earlier to say it murder or suicide.

But there is more chance of murder despite suicide. The residents requested for the legitimate investigation of the case and demand for the apprehension of two other accused.
