Won’t accept any extra constitutional step: Sarwar

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Central leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that any extra constitutional step is out of question and elections must be held on due date.

He was addressing the inauguration of party office along with Hamid Khan Advocate, Pakistan Farmer Alliance leader Ayub Mayo, and others at Ghazi Road Lahore on Sunday.

On the occasion, more than 15 activists of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) announced to join PTI.

Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the Supreme Court is taking steps to ensure provision of health and education facilities due to incompetence of rulers. He said that we are doing politics under the ambit of constitution and law.

We even can’t think to support even extra constitutional step. People were disappointed of corrupt system as the rulers have failed to provide basic provisions to countrymen, he added. The PTI leader said that the PTI chief Imran Khan is striving to resolve the longstanding issues faced by the country and its people but some elements were trying to create hurdles for him which can’t keep him away of his commitment with masses.

Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar claimed that PTI enjoys the support of educated people especially youth and through their support it will win upcoming general elections and Imran Khan will become Prime Minister of Pakistan.

He said that the PML-N has become subject of accountability due to their incompetence and looting. We want across the board accountability in Pakistan and regard it as only way forward for Pakistan.

The visits of chief justice to hospitals are according to law because constitution empowers judiciary to secure the fundamental rights of people, he added.
