KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, while sharing views with senior journalist Mazhar Abbas in Karachi Registry, said you think I am working for my popularity but actually I am working to facilitate people.
An interesting dialogue witnessed between Chief Justice and senior journalist Mazhar Abbas in Supreme Court Karachi registry during hearing of case pertaining to provision of pure water.
Justice Saqib Nisar said: “Mazhar Sahib! you people think I want to take over and working for my popularity but people will forget me after my retirement. What I am doing, is only to facilitate public”.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court stayed new appointments in the PIA during the hearing of the PIA Privatization case. The court orde-red not to make any appointment until next hearing.
