PESHAWAR: Directorate of Heath Services, FATA in collaboration with UNICEF observed World Aids Day on December 1 in FATA.
The facilitators sensitized the participants about HIV/AIDS, how it is transmitted and how it could be prevented. Pamphlets containing information about HIV/AIDs are distributed among participants. 150 participants participated in this activity. Assistant Political Agent Jamrud Muhammad Riaz and Agency Surgeon Dr. Muhammad Rafique Khyber Agency Jamrud also addressed the participants.
Later, a walk was arranged by the organizers wherein a lot of people of Khyber Agency participated against HIV/AIDS.
