Young man reunited with family

KABUL (TOLOnews): A young man from Badakhshan who disappeared from Kabul sixteen years ago, was reunited with his family. The boy’s family says that they tried for years to find their son, but their efforts did not yield any results.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said that in the current year, more than 500 children who disappeared from their families for various reasons have been returned to their families.
“I went to Rishkhor several times, but I couldn’t find anyone, and finally one of the compatriots said to give me your photo or ID card so that I can publish it on TV or Facebook, maybe a clue will be found,” said Mohammad Karim, the reunited boy.
The family members of Mohammad Karim said that they tried for years to find him, but their efforts did not yield results.
“Neither night became day nor day became night. We were saying to ourselves, I wish we could see him. We didn’t believe it when we heard the news, but his mother said that he had come,” said Noor Ahmad, Karim’s father.
“He was missing for several years and we didn’t know anything about him. I am very glad of you for bringing him back and giving him to us,” said Arafa, Karim’s grandmother.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said that in the current year, more than 500 children who disappeared from their families for various reasons or were deported from foreign countries have been returned to their families.
“During this year, almost 500 children who disappeared from their families or went to foreign countries and were deported, have been reunited with their families,” said Samiullah Ebrahimi, the spokesman of the ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
According to the ministry, 15 support centers are active across the country and in these centers, children over fifteen years old who are far from their families are kept.
