ISLAMABAD: As the dust is settling about the next government at the Centre, senior PPP leader and former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is tipped to be a candidate for the post of National Assembly speaker, on Wednesday.
According to sources, the PML-N will give two Senate seats to Pakistan People’s Party from Punjab.
Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chaudhry Manzoor, Nadeem Afzal Chan and Syed Hasan Murtaza are vying for these two seats in the Senate.
However, the final decision will be taken by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
