KARAK: Vice Chancellor Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak (KKKUK) Professor Dr. Jehan Bakht has stressed on the youths to equip themselves with the ornament of education to cope with the current day challenges and added that they should play their due role in the establishment of a society of tolerance. He was addressing to the award giving ceremony to the position holder’s student of English department of the University here on Thursday. He expressed concerns over the increasing intolerance attitude in the society and stressed that the youths should be involved in healthy co-curricular activities to put their energies in right direction. VC appreciated the performance of English department for arranging debates, seminars, dialogues, competitions and other co-curricular activities for the students by engaging them in very fruitful activities. Bakht stressed on the social scientist to come forward to play their role to establish a society of tolerance and channelize the energies of the youths in positive direction. He asked the other departments of the University to follow the traditions of English department and they should also engage their students in such healthy co-curricular activities. On the occasion Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mirza Jan termed the co-curricular activities part of the curricular activities and claimed that co-curricular activities create the sense of competition among the students.
