PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan had said that Zamung Kor foundation project would be extended to the national level after its introduction in the whole of the province. The Chief Minister in principle agreed to the suggestion for the branding of Zamung Kor foundation project to be launched in the whole of Pakistan. He would take the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on board in this regard.
This he said while presiding over a meeting regarding Zamung Kor foundation and attending the MoU signing ceremony between Zamung Kor foundation and “Spark of Hope” at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar. MPA from Chitral Wazir Zada, Secretary Social Welfare, Chairman Zamung Kor foundation Syed Imtiaz Gillani and representatives of “Spark of Hope” were also present on the occasion.
The meeting was briefed about the support and cooperation of Spark of Hope to Zamung Kor foundation in different fields. The meeting was told that Spark of Hope will support all the expenditures of the students after 8th Class. The Spark of Hope will also give full economic support for sports grounds, computer labs and for teaching of English and Chinese languages.
The Chief Minister said that the provincial government will also provide full support in this national cause. He assured that he will soon pay a visit to Zamung Kor foundation.
The Chief Minister said that the provincial government was taking all possible steps to educate the orphans and hapless children of the province.
The Chief Minister said that the people of swat suffered to the core laying down their lives and damages to their property in the wave of militancy and military operations. The most agonizing dimension of the militancy and the subsequent operation was that it left the hapless children orphans. His government was taking all out efforts for the education of these children.
His government believed that compensating the whole people specially who had losses of lives is not totally possible but collectively we can contribute to mitigate their sufferings and bring them out of the total abysmal and deprivation, he added.
The Chief Minister appreciated the services rendered by Zamung Kor Foundation for the orphans and hapless children of Swat in education sector.
The Chief Minister assured total support to the welfare activities of both THE Zamung Kor and Spark of Hope institutions. He also welcomed all the stakeholders to rise to the occasion and take active part in such activities for social uplift of the oppressed in the society. The Chief Minister also attended the signing ceremony between Zamung Kor Foundation and “Spark of Hope” On the occasion.
