Zara Noor Abbas controversial statement about depression provokes debates

KARACHI: Gorgeous Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui gave a controversial statement about depression on her Instagram handle which triggered a serious debate on social media.

The actress has shared her condolences over death of Maulana Tariq Jamil’s son death because of depression, she gave her stance about it.

In the shared story, the lady gave a response to the people who claimed that depression happens because of lack of religious tendency by giving the example of Maulana Tariq Jameel’s son that it is real even if you are close to religion, it can take your life.

Here are the exact words of Zara Noor: “For all those who says depression happens because of deer se duri, please take the example of Maulana Tariq Saab’s son who was suffering from it even though he had a household full of religious activities and his father being such an honored religious scholar.

Please understand that depression is REAL like any other illness. It sucks out everything from you. Please seek help and support for it. My heart goes out to the family of the deceased. May Allah grant him Jannah and peace after all.”
