4 killed in Wana firing incident

WANA: At least four people including a sub contractor were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on them at Shrawangai tehsil Tiarza on Friday night.

According to details, armed men opened fire at the tent killing four people on the spot and the deceased were identified as Hassan Yar son of Jabar khan Mehsud, Ishaq, Suleman and Asadullah. Except Hassan Yar, all other belonged to district D-I-Khan.

Some official sources said that Suleman and Asadullah were workers with sub contractor Mr. Hassan Yar Mehsud and the third person Ishaq had come on tour to the area. But some sources said that all including sub contractor Hassan Yar Mehsud had come on tour to enjoy the pleasant weather in the area. This correspondent tried his level best to confirm either all they were workers or tourists, but exact information’s in this connection, were not found till filing this report. The dead bodies were shifted to Tank and later handed over to their families.
