8 arrested for selling adulterated milk in City

PESHAWAR: District administration in a joint crackdown against adulteration in milk conducted raids in different areas and arrested 8 milk sellers for selling adulterated milk to consumers.

On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Peshawar Islamzeb, the Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mohammad Hamayun Khan along with Dr. Jamal of the Livestock Department tested the samples of the milk of different milk sellers at Nothia, Gulberg and Khyber Super Market through mobile milk testing laboratory and arrested 8 milk sellers proving sufficient water in their product.

The Deputy Commissioner has directed all AACs for collecting samples of milk in their respective areas to send them for laboratory analysis and cleans the city of adulterated milk.
