Aania Farooq takes lead in CAS Open Golf Championship

Karachi: Five times consecutive CAS Golf Champion Aania Farooq, having lead on the first day of ladies in 37th CAS Golf Competition. The young and talented Aania who has established herself as one of the best lady golfer scored 44 gross (in 9 holes). Humera Khalid stood second with 45 gross, followed by Dania Syed as third with 47 gross.

In Professionals Category, Matloob Ahmed maintained his last days lead in Third round with gross score of 211 (05 under-par). Zulfiqar Ali stood second with gross score of 215 (01 under par). While Third position tied between Muhammad Shabbir, Muhammad Munir and Waheed Baloch with gross score of 216 (par). In Amateur Category, Ghazanfar Mehmood retained his last days position on third day by carding in gross score of 224 (08 over par). Second position in Gross Category remained with M.Shraif with the score of 226 (10 over par). Under Net Category, M.Adnan stands First with score of 216 (par) followed by Robin Bagh with the net score of 217 (1 over par). With mixed fortunes for golfers, 37th CAS Open Golf Championship-2018 has entered in final phase.
