ISLAMABAD: The accountability court has adjourned hearing till January 2, 2018 in the assets reference case against former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
As the hearing begins, the NAB prosecutor informed the court regarding the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) stay order on the accountability court’s proceedings against Dar. Later, Judge Muhammad Bashir of accountability court adjourned the hearing in the assets reference against Ishaq Dar filed by National Accountability Court (NAB).
On Wednesday, The IHC barred the accountability court from hearing case against former finance minister till January 17, 2018 after Dar’s petitions on Wednesday against the accountability court’s order declaring him a proclaimed offender and issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants for him, barred the accountability court from proceedings against the former finance minister till January 17, 2018.
