F.P. Report
LAHORE: A special team, constituted by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), is conducting raids for the arrest of PTI leader and former minister of state Zartaj Gul, who had been booked on corruption charges, on Tuesday.
ACE spokesman said that a case had been registered against Zartaj and her husband Humayun Akhund for receiving 10 per cent in kickbacks in different development projects on the complaint of a citizen named Asfand Junaid.
He disclosed that the ACE’s team had raided Zartaj’s home in Lahore yesterday. “However, she was not at her home,” he explained.
The spokesman claimed that the ACE was taking indiscriminate action against corrupt elements throughout Punjab.
