KABUL (Agencies): Acting Interior Minister, Khalifa Sirajiddin Haqani, has visited Firuzkuh, the center of Ghor province. During his trip, he attended a meeting with local officials, scholars, and tribal elders. Two local elders of Ghor, Abdul Ahed Khan Daulat Yari and Fazlul Haq Nejat, raised the problems of the people to Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani. They stated that Ghor is a remote province that has not received much attention for its development in the past governments. In addition to the implementation of welfare-development projects in Ghor by the Islamic Emirate, the elders said that the mining of Ghor can also cover the costs of construction projects. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of the people of Ghor during the Jihad against the invaders and said that it is a matter of gratitude that today we have an independent and free Islamic system. He also said that although the whole world and the West came in twenty years under the pretext that they serve you, but they did not work except for bloodshed, hypocrisy, and against the nation. He added that with the perseverance and hard work of the Muslim nation of Afghanistan under the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, an Islamic system has been established in the country under a standard of unity and mutual acceptance. In conclusion, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani promised the people of Ghor that with the implementation of development projects, their existing challenges will be addressed.
