Adoption of e-governance inevitable for livestock sector

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Livestock, Mohibullah Khan has termed the adoption of e-governance for the development of livestock sector inevitable.

Presiding over a meeting regarding e-governance here in Livestock & Dairy Development here Thursday, he directed the guaranteeing of adoption of e-governance system to make the province self-sufficient in both meat and milk production.

Besides, Secretary Agriculture & Livestock, Mohammad Israr, Director General (DG), Dr. Sher Mohammad and others and senior officials of livestock sector from Punjab also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the special assistant was presented detail presentation on e-governance and adoption of modern technology and taking benefit of the expertise of Punjab province in this regard. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation in this regard.
