PESHAWAR: Additional District and Session (AD&SJ) Peshawar Aftab Iqbal has convicted murderer for three times death sentence for killing three persons including Masjid’s Imam in Jirga while three other co-accused were acquitted, on Tuesday.
According to prosecution, the murderer Fazal Rabi has opened firing on Jirga in Madani Masjid in which three persons were killed including Imam Masjid. The deceased were identified as Qari Muhammad Younas, Javeed and Adil over land dispute.
Police has arrested Fazal Rabi from crime scene and submitted complete challan before court.
AD&SJ Peshawar Aftab Iqbal has convicted Fazal Rabi for three times death sentence along with Rs6 lakh fine while acquitted Shah Syed, Amjad Ali and Shah Faisal over lack of evidence.
