Afghan forces destroy IEDs

HELMAND: The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces destroyed a large amount of Improvised Explosive Devices and Explosives components in southern Helmand province.

The informed military sources said the Afghan Special Forces destroyed a large amount of IEDs and explosive components during a raid in Helmand. Furthermore, the 3rd Brigade of the 215th Corps conducted clearing operations along Highway 1 in Helmand. The sources further added that the soldiers of the 3rd Brigade of 215th Corps defused 19 IEDs. (Khaama Press)
