GHOR (Ariana News): As part of its winter aid campaign, Bayat Foundation has distributed packages of food and non-food items to dozens of poor families in Ghor province.
The aid items include flour, rice, oil and clothes.
Officials of Bayat Foundation say that the beneficiaries were added to the list of aid recipients after a survey by representatives of the foundation.
“It is clear to all that the Bayat Foundation is a charitable foundation that provides assistance to the needy, orphans, poor and earthquake-affected people in 34 provinces of Afghanistan in this season of the year,” said Abdul Khaliq Kamgar, representative of the Bayat Foundation.
According to Bayat Foundation officials, the aid campaign will continue until the end of the winter season.
“We hope that this aid will open a door to future aid for the poor people of Ghor province,” Kamgar said. With the increase in unemployment and poverty in Afghanistan, the number of people in need of humanitarian aid increases day by day.
Aid recipients thank Bayat Foundation for its assistance and call on other organizations to follow suit.
