MUMBAI: Former Miss World and Bollywood actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachan has demanded Rs 100 million for playing the lead role in in Indian remake of 1967 film titled ‘Raat Aur Din’.
The Indian media reported that the production house accepted the demand of Aishwarya and soon the shooting of the film will be started.
In the original “Raat Aur Din” movie Nargis played the lead role and critics have said that Aishwarya will have to be prepare to cover the greatness of late Nargis.
Nargis won the National Award for Best Actress in 1968 for her performance in Raat Aur Din.
