MUMBAI: Ranbir Kapoor took the country by storm after the teaser for Sanju was dropped two days ago in which he looked like a spitting image of Sanjay Dutt. His dedication and diligence has won him the praise of many. Reportedly, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first people to have seen Ranbir’s look from the film and he was left impressed too.
Recently in an interview with a daily, Amitabh Bachchan was asked to comment about his Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor to which he replied, “I haven’t shot with Ranbir yet for Brahmastra. But, I’ve worked with him when he was an AD (assistant director) on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black (2005). He was the one who trained the little girl Ayesha Kapur (she played a differently-abled child). In between shots, I’d see him train her; it was impressive. Ranbir is an exceptional artiste. He doesn’t do anything, yet he does a lot. I keep telling him that he’s God-gifted. I’m his admirer. I am happy that I’ve got an opportunity to work with both father and son in the same year, it’s a blessing for me.”
Amitabh Bachchan has worked with the senior, Rishi Kapoor, on several occasions and will also be seen in their upcoming, 102 Not Out. It will be interesting to see Amitabh Bachchan on screen with Ranbir Kapoor next year.
