Ranveer Singh and Kalki Koechlin to rap in ‘Gully Boy’

MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh, who just wrapped up shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt recently, is now said to collaborate with co-star Kalki Koechlin to sing a song in the film.

Ranveer, who plays a rapper in the film, should have no trouble with this as he has already been taking lessons. Kalki, however, had no prior experience.

Kalki said to media that she listened to a lot of rap, especially to get into that zone because Ranveer and I have to sing a song together. Anand Tiwari, is doing the music of the film, so he is teaching me the song,” the actress added further.

This was Kalki’s second time working with Zoya Akhtar after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and talking about that a little more, she said to a daily and adding that she has a great sense of humor and timing and that shows in her script. Gully Boy releases on 14th February 2019.
