ISLAMABAD: Pakistani pair, Aqeel Khan and Shahzad Khan, have won the doubles title in ITF Futures Tennis Tournament 2017 held in Islamabad by defeating opponents Luke Pavlovic of France and Pere Riba of Spain in straight sets.
The final match of Serena Hotels ITF Futures Tennis Tournament 2017 held in Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Complex Garden Avenue. The Pakistani pair registered their historic win against Pavlovic and Riba.
They won by the sets 7-6 7-6. Riba is a former world number 65 in the international rankings with 12 Grand Slam appearances, reaching second round 4 times.
