LANDI KOTAL, Mar 11: The Khasadar force has claimed to recover 20 sniper guns from Afghanistan returned truck at Pak-Afghan sharing border Torkham on Sunday.
Political niab-Tehsildar Torkham, Tehsinullah said that the Khasadar troops recovered the weapons during routine checking from Kabul returned truck bearing registration no.NGR-779 at the border. He added that the guns were hided in parts in spare tires of the vehicle. One allegedly smuggler identified as Noor Gul Agha(driver) an Afghan national was apprehended and sent to Landi Kotal lock up for further investigation. According to forces official seized guns were more sphesticated than the sniper ones and it worth more than Rs.1,4 million in the market.
