Avengers: Infinity Wars continues to rule world box-office

Monitoring Desk

ISLAMABAD: Avengers: Infinity War has set the box-office on fire ever since its release on April 27.  The film is not only killing it on the box-office in America, but worldwide as well. Since its release, it has already managed to break several box-office records, the biggest of them being the highest opening weekend grosser at the worldwide box office.

Avengers beat the record which was set by The Fate of the Furious, which made $543 million after its release last year. After raking in $630 million at the global box office, the latest Marvel superhero release has crushed the record by a huge margin.  And considering the fact, that it has broken record without even getting a release in China is what makes it even more special.

Avengers : Infinity War marks the humiliation of 10 years of Marvel’s storytelling. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Infinity War’s cast comprises Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo.  Marvel’s best superheroes, have to unite and save the world from the villain Thanos, played by Josh Brolin in the film.
