Four Bollywood divas to add glamour to Cannes film festival

MUMBAI: While regulars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor will be turning heads at Cannes this year too, Kangana Ranaut also will be appearing at the much touted fashion event  for the first time this year.

According to a report in a leading daily, Kananga Ranaut will be walking down the red carpet in France on May 11. The report also further went to suggest that Deepika Padukone will be making appearances on the May 10 and 11.

Sonam Kapoor, who will be soon tying the knot with her beau Anand Ahuja, will be walking the red carpet on May 14 and 15.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been attending the event from the past 17 years, will be walking down the red carpet on May 12 and 13.

The Cannes Film Festival is as the name suggests, a film event but the festival has become a cornerstone for fashion watchers over the years. Models and leading ladies from around the world make routine appearances at different days of the event, leading to the paparazzi going wild throughout the 12 day event.  This year, the festival opens on May 8 and closes on May 19th.

Last year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Cinderellaesque gown had charmed people, while Deepika Padukone’s avatar in a wine-colored gown was simply stunning.
