Azerbaijan to invest in mining and education sectors in Afghanistan

KABUL (Khaama Press): The Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Kabul said that the country is willing to invest and cooperate in sectors such as mining, education, training, and facilitating service processes in Afghanistan.

The Taliban’s administrative affairs department reported Thursday night that Elham Mohammadov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Kabul, raised this matter in a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to the statement, the Azerbaijani Ambassador considers the reopening of his country’s embassy in Afghanistan as a sign of good and friendly relations between the two countries.

Elham Mohammadov stated that Azerbaijan and Afghanistan are brotherly countries, independent, with territorial integrity, and a policy of non-interference.

According to the Kabul Palace statement, Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the interim government’s Prime Minister’s Office, expressed satisfaction with the presence of the Azerbaijani representative in Afghanistan, stating that the Taliban is also eager to strengthen and expand bilateral relations between the two countries in the future.

Hanafi said that the Taliban administration welcomes all investments in the country and provides all necessary facilities for them.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the interim government also reiterated that the Taliban administration is eager to maintain good and friendly relations with Azerbaijan and other countries worldwide.
