Balakot: Dozen shops, hotel collapses in heavy rain

BALAKOT: At least dozens shops and hotels were collapsed on Thursday night in Balakot after torrential rain hit the area.

The local administration had already issued warning to the people living in the area due to which, no loss of human life reported so far.

On the other hand, heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds lashed the twin cities where trees and electricity polls were uprooted.

Meanwhile, a man was killed when a tree fell on him near Rawal Lake. The dead body has been shifted to Poly Clinic hospital.
