Biometric verification obligation for Umrah pilgrims lifted off again

ISLAMABAD (APP): The obligation of biometric verification for Umrah pilgrims has been lifted off again after it was made compulsory earlier.

According to the details, Saudi embassy had yesterday directed that people above the age of 45 are to be excluded from the obligation of biometric verification.

The embassy also excluded the children below age 12 from the obligation.

The embassy imposed the obligation on all other pilgrims. However, the obligation was lifted off today until further notice.
