Bomb blast leaves 4 civilians hurt

KUNDUZ: A bomb blast injured at least four persons in Kunduz City on Monday. A sticky bomb attached to a pickup vehicle detonated in the limits of 2nd police district, injuring two civilians, said Niamatullah Taimouri, spokesman of Kunduz governor.

Eyewitnesses, however, said the blast left four civilians wounded. “Some guests from Khost province had parked their vehicle at a roadside when the magnetic bomb attached to the vehicle went off. The guest escaped unhurt but four passers-by sustained injuries in the blast,” an eyewitness said.

The injured were shifted hospital and their condition was declared stable.
