Building for govt primary school sought

BUNER: The elders and residents of Kalabat area of Buner demanded a building for the Government Primary School as the more than 400 students were compelled to continue study in the open air.

A delegation of elders namely Shah Muamber, Hussain Khan, Hussain Ali, Alam Zeb, Bakht Zeb, Hakumat and Feroz Khan of Kalabat village on Monday visited the office of district nazim Dr. Obaidullah and district opposition leader Haji Sadiqullah.

They told that the already two room’s school was badly damaged and the department of education was decided to ground it this week without provision of alternate building for the students. They elaborated this school was on the Mosque land and now the education departments was not ready to rebuild it on the same place. They continued to say that there was no alternate building for the students to continue their education there.

They expressed their extreme worry over this sorrow state of affair in connection with the future of their kids and demanded addressing this issue on priority basis. The district nazim immediately called on the officers of education department for immediate solution to this core issue of future statesmen.

The education officers asked for donation piece of land one of the elders and one Feroz Khan offered two Kanal lands on the condition of employment for his family members.

The district nazim directed the officers of education department to immediately prepare the file for addressing this issue on priority. The Nazim assure the delegation that he along with deputy commissioner will visit there and to personally take steps for building issue and to accommodate the enrolled students there soon.
