Candidates accuses KPPSC staff for misbehaving

PESHAWAR: Candidates appeared in recently held competitive examinations under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has complained against the KPPSC staff for their misbehavior and lackluster attitude towards facilitating the candidates.

An aspirant, Wisal Khan, who recently appeared in the competitive exam for the post of Tehsil Municipal Officer, said that there were no arrangements from the commission while conducting the competitive examination for BPS-17. He added that some candidates were openly busy in cheating during the examination. He also alleged that the candidates were having the mobiles with them inside the examination centre. “They took pictures of the paper and sent them to their colleagues and friends standing outside the halls through mobiles,” Wisal said adding that the paper was later easily available on the social media.

Another aspirant Anees Khan said after he couldn’t find the result on the official website he tried to contact the commission office regarding the issue but no one respond to his telephone calls.

“Official number of KPPSC was constantly busy and sometimes no one was responding, I tried more than 100 times but to no avail,” Anees said. He suggested that at least they need to publish a note on the official website about the problem in the result but instead of facilitation, the commission is making problems for candidates.

He lamented that he had visited the commission office several time but fed up of misbehavior of the staff. “I will never appear in the KPPSC’s examination again because I have strong reservations about the process of the exam they are just exploiting youth and wasting their time and money”, he added.

In this regard when this correspondent approached chairman office of the commission the personal staff officer of chairman said that chairman is not at the office. While requested for the contact number of chairman for comments, he acted up and refused to give the number and declined to comment on problems facing by aspirants. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PSC are Conducting tests and examinations for recruitment to the civil service of the province and civil posts in connection with affairs of the province in basic pay scales 16 and above or equivalent and posts in basic pay scale 11 to 15 or equivalent specified in certain Departments of the Provincial Govt. The commission also conducted examination for the BPS 17 in PTI led government.
