Real youth were supporting JUI-F not PTI: Fazl

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and Chairman NA Kashmir Committee, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that establishment and bureaucracy was the main hurdle in the way of JUIF to reach the power corridor in Islamabad.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said this while addressing a Pegham-e-Islam (Message) Conference arranged by Jamiat Tulaba-e-Islam (JTI) here on Wednesday.

He said that JUIF hold huge public meetings which were largely attended by the people that spoke of growing popularity of the party across the country.

He said that Western forces were trying to target seminaries which are the back bone of Islam and Pakistan adding that the current PTI led coalition provincial government in KP was perusing the agenda of anti Islam forces to eliminate the role of seminaries.

He said that the provincial government was trying to buy Pesh Imams (prayer leaders) by paying them monthly stipends which he claimed the Pesh Imams have rejected.

He said that JUI-F is defending the ideology of Pakistan on all available forums adding JUI-F would not allow the fulfillment of the intentions of West against the ideology of Pakistan.

Maulana claimed that real youth were with the JUIF and denounced the assertions of certain politicians claiming to be the champions of youth politics. Today’s massive participation of the youth in the JUIF youth convention was a message for the some politicians that youth did not want implementation of western culture in Pakistan.

“We have the power of those youth who have the spirit of Islam and waiting for a signal of their party leadership” Maulana warned.

Maulana said that knowledge is power and a student of a seminary should get modern education but due to class based education system the students of seminaries could not be adjusted.

The JUIF Chief said that the province of Pakhtun has been handed over to those who wanted to wipe out religion. Earlier, Federal Minister for Housing, Akram Durrani, Senator Hafiz Hamdullah, Provincial JUIF Maulana Gul Nasib, Maulana Ataul Haq Darvesh, Maulana Rahat Hussain, Abdul Jalil Jan and provincial chief of JTI address the convention.
