Civil societies blame govt for collapse of Siagard

KABUL: Members of Civil Society blamed government for showing negligence and careless attitude due to which the Taliban captured most parts of Parwan’s Siagard district.

They also accused the Wolesi Jirga member Abdul Sattar Khawasi for supporting Taliban and fully involve in the collapse of Pindqistan area.

They said this while addressing to gathering in Kabul on Monday. The speakers added that the fight was continue in Pindqistan area from the past few but the government didn’t bothered to take notice of the situation despite that thousands of people had left their houses in the area and finally Taliban captured the area.

The Taliban had made preparations for war over the past few months however, the government had not taken any prompt steps, they added.

The Taliban captured Pindqistan area of Siagard district on Sunday. Parwan police chief Zaman Mamozai told media persons that the security forces had made tactical retreat in some areas.
