Three injured in road in Karachi

KARACHI: Three persons including a woman and child were injured when oil tanker collided with the truck in Baldia town area of Karachi on Tuesday morning.

The oil tanker was carrying around 25,000 liters of furnace oil which spilled on the road because of accident. After the accident, fire erupted and the driver managed to escape from the crime scene.

A motor car skid on the slippery road because of oil spillage as a result the passengers were seriously injured and they were shifted to Murshid Hospital.

The area was cordoned off and the oil tanker was moved away from the site after the incident. Authorities started investigation of the incident and a search of the tanker driver.
