CM Murad rejects rift between govt and IG Sindh

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah has rejected the speculation of rift between the provincial government and Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja.

This he said while talking to media persons after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid on her death anniversary on Monday. Shah said that the case regarding the IG Sindh is in court and it has the authority to pass the verdict in this regard.

CM Sindh rejected all the speculation regarding the rift between the provincial government and IG Sindh and adding that administrative issues raises exist everywhere ant it is common.

The Sindh High Court on Thursday ordered the IG to continue on his post after he was removed by the provincial government in a controversial manner last year.
