COAS leaves for Kabul to meet President Ashraf Ghani

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General, Qamar Javed Bajwa left for Kabul to hold a meeting with the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and other Afghan officials during his three day long visit.

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) told media the COAS left for Kabul on Sunday. COAS will meet the Afghanistan President and other civil and military leadership of Afghanistan.

Both the neighboring countries were blaming each other for hosting terrorists groups and using it promoting terrorism in the region and in the recent times the visit of COAS is of so important to decrease the tension between the two neighboring countries.
