ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday expressed displeasure over the violations of code of conduct in the in the NA-120 by-poll.
The chief election commissioner expressed serious anger over the Provincial Food Minister Bilal Yasin’s failure to appear before the commission. The ECP starts hearing after a complaint was received by its monitoring team over the violation of the code of conduct in the NA-120 campaign.
The ECP has given September 7 deadline to the minister to file his reply and adding that a show cause notice will be issued to him if he continues to violate the codes of conduct in this regard.
