URUZGAN (Agencies): Local officials of Uruzgan says that the construction of 50-kilometer road between Uruzgan center Tarinkot and Dehrawad district has commenced with at a cost of 30 million US dollars.
The Ministry of Public Works strives to built all the extended roads of the country, says an official of the Ministry.
Meanwhile, Hakimullah, the manager of Seddiq Noor Afghan Construction Company, who is carrying out the reconstruction of this road, said that this road is 50 kilometers long and 9 meters wide, which includes a big bridge and 123 small bridges.
The construction of the road will be completed within 22 months, he said.
Lately, the ministry informed on the construction of the extended road between Kandahar and Uruzgan had started before.
