Tatarstan, Iran to invest in coal electricity generation

KABUL (Agencies): The Tatarstan and Iran investors in a meeting with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, said that they are ready to invest in the coal electricity production sector l in Afghanistan.
The Industry and Commerce Minister Noorudding Azizi, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and the Ministry of Water and Energy, met with the KR Group from the country’s Republic of Tatarstan and the investors of the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the Ministry of Commerce statement.
Minister Azizi assured that the draft memorandum and the information provided by the Ministries of Water and Energy and Mines and Petroleum will be shared with both parties.
At the end of the meeting, a decision was made regarding the time and place of the face-to-face meeting and signing of the memorandum of understanding between the officials KR Group of Tatarstan and the investors of the Islamic Republic of Iran, added the Ministry statement.
