Court summons two ex-premiers in graft cases

OKARA: An accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Wednesday summoned former prime ministers Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to appear in the court on November 14 in person.

The court summoned Abbasi, who is also a PML-N leader, in LNG reference while Ashraf, a PPP leader, in four cases related to the Rental power scandal registered against him on different dates.

Ashraf was summoned in the cases registered against him in 2015 and 2017 on November 14, while in cases registered in 2016 and 2017 on October 12.
