PESHAWAR: District Administration Peshawar has initiated their crackdown against the shop keepers who are selling toy guns, confiscating several such toys from shops and warehouses on Sunday.
As per details, officials of District Administration raided numerous warehouses and shops across Pipal Mandi where they took several cartons of toy weapons and firework instruments in their possession.
The raid took place over orders of Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar Mohammad Ali Asghar.
During the raid, four people were also taken under arrest under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) ordinance.
According to District Administration spokesperson, the raid took place with participation of police personnel and DSP City under supervision of Lady Assistant Commissioner Peshawar Sarah Rehmani.
The spokesperson added that selling of all such toys which resemble in any weapon is banned across the city under section 144.
